Weekend Warrior, Professional Bikini Model and Physical Education Instructor: Tianna Snyder

Tianna Miller is the General Manager of Anytime Fitness Spartanburg Hillcrest. She is a 32-year-old, professional bikini model and bodybuilder in the National Gym Association with heavy ties to the fitness and dance industries! She also is a college graduate with a degree in Physical Education from Southern Wesleyan University, personal training certifications from The American Fitness Institute and has been licensed in Zumba, Pound, and PiYo, and is a TRX Qualified Coach.

At 7 years old, Tianna did her first workout when she popped her mother’s Jane Fonda’s Workout VHS tape into the VCR.  She dabbled in tap, ballet, and jazz as a child, played soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and ran indoor track, outdoor track, and cross country in high school. She went on to run cross country in college where she was 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Region, and a National Qualifier in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

After graduating, worked in sales at a specialty running shoe store and was the pool manager at The Greenville Country Club for a few months before using her degree to be a Physical Education and Sexual Education teacher for the public school system.  During that time, She also coached track and cross country at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. Tianna was teaching fitness classes 7 days a week, including but not limited to, nights, weekends and holidays and before and after school at 5:30am and 5:30 pm on weekdays. She began to build up her clientele, and make a name for herself in the fitness industry. She realized that she could help more people through classes and training than she could through teaching and coaching so she made the career switch and moved up through the ranks from part-time, to full-time, and then to the manager and then general manager in a short amount of time and never looked back!

In her work as a PT, she has trained entrepreneurs, athletes, beauty queens, military personnel, competitive dancers and taught at events for realtors, debutantes, women in business, Girl Scout troops, and church groups. Many of these experiences can be found on her Facebook page.

She has amassed 3 medals, 3 swords, and 4 trophies in her bodybuilding career so far. They include 1st place Bikini Tall in the Kentucky Bluegrass Bodybuilding Championship, 1st place Bikini Beach, 1st Place Bikini Model, and 1st Place Pro Bikini in The Central Florida Fall Classic. Her motto is “Building bodies and businesses.” She served as President of the BNI Referral Powerhouse for 1.5 years and is currently launching a new chapter called The Upstate Movers and Shakers. She was recognized as a Business Network International Gold Club Member for going the extra mile in building her chapters by introducing six or more professionals into the organization who subsequently became members.

Tianna teaches line dance classes at a local restaurant. In 2019 and 2020, she taught at The Vegas Dance Explosion in Las Vegas, Nevada, and The Big Bang Dance Classic in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Tianna has donated her time, services, and money to teach at charity events over the past 10 years for The Special Olympics, Toys for Tots, and several local cancer patients. She recently participated in a huge initiative for Jared Allen's Home for Wounded Warriors and she is gearing up for a fundraiser for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Her goals are to win Best of Spartanburg and the titles of Ms. Health and Fitness and LLS Woman of the Year in 2021.
