(Chicago, IL) - February 7th 2022 , The Black Fashion Week| USA events will return for it’s 7th annual fashion week during Black History Month in Chicago, IL. The weekend event will take place in Chicago,IL where it all began 7 years ago with a vision to highlight designers of color, promoting and exposing their brand aesthetics to the general public nationwide in key black metropolitan cities.

The Luxury Runway Show

The exciting runway show will take place on Sunday, February, 27th 2022 during Black history month, featuring designs by Dream Designs, Amara Black, BelBlak Couture, Jonathan Thedford, Stephane St. Jaymes & TomKat Art & Fashion Boutique. This exciting event will take place live in Chicago at the Royal Garden Banquet Halls located at 2515 N. The Launch of the Little Black Boutique Guide

The Little Black Boutique Guide launched in February and June of this year  and  is Chicago’s first Black Fashion Travel Guide Book written By Black Fashion Week’s founder Melody Boykin. The book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart.Com and wherever books are sold. In addition to the runway event, the book has been published to highlight black-owned boutiques in Chicago and abroad and is a modern-day version of the book written by New York postman Victor Hugo Green who wrote The Green Book in 1936 to help black Americans travel safely through the Jim Crow laws.
